Key Takeaways
- Size variations significantly impact the tactile experience and display options, with larger plushes like Dustin the Dalmatian offering more cuddling surface while smaller ones like Austin are more portable.
- Design diversity is key — from realistic animals like Natty the Labrador to whimsical characters like Woxie the Bigfoot, the variety caters to different preferences and collections.
- Price ranges vary widely but investing in higher-quality or licensed designs tends to offer better durability and authenticity, especially for collectors.
- Functional options like decorative cushions can serve dual purposes, but they may compromise on traditional plush softness or cuddliness.
- The tradeoff between cuteness and practicality often influences size and material choices — larger plushes tend to be softer but less portable, while smaller ones are easier to carry around.

More Details on Our Top Picks
Squishmallows 12in Natty the Black Labrador Dog with Festive Red Bandana
This 12-inch Natty the Black Labrador combines cuddly ultrasoft material with a charming character that appeals to both collectors and kids. Compared with the smaller 8-inch options, Natty offers a more substantial feel, making it ideal for hugging or display. While its size is versatile, the specific dog character may not appeal to those seeking more variety in breed or style. The plush’s official Jazwares branding guarantees quality, but its limited character range could be a drawback for some. Overall, Natty makes the most sense for someone wanting a medium-sized, officially licensed plush that’s perfect for cuddling or collection.
Pros:- Soft, ultrasoft material perfect for cuddling
- Unique dog character with a fun, festive bio
- Official Jazwares product ensures quality
Cons:- Limited to a 12-inch size, which may be too small for some collectors
- Specific character may not suit fans of other animals or styles
Best for: Families who want a medium-sized, cuddly dog plush that doubles as a display piece or gift
Not ideal for: Minimalists or those seeking a generic plush without specific character appeal
- Size:12 inches
- Character:Natty the Black Labrador Dog
- Material:Ultrasoft
- Brand:Jazwares
- Official Product:Yes
Our verdict“This plush suits those seeking a well-made, medium-sized dog that’s perfect for cuddling and display.”
Squishmallows 12in Belana the Aqua Cow Sleepamallows – Official Plush
Belana the Aqua Cow Sleepamallows stands out for its super-soft plush material, making it an excellent choice for bedtime cuddles. Compared with Natty the Labrador, Belana emphasizes comfort with its plush construction designed specifically for cuddling at night. While its size is comparable, its focus on sleep-ready softness might limit its appeal to those looking for an active or display plush. Being an official Squishmallows product adds authenticity, but the plush’s simplicity means it lacks interactive features or variety beyond softness and size. This pick makes the most sense for those prioritizing plush softness for sleep or relaxation.
Pros:- Extremely soft and inviting for cuddling
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
- Unique aqua cow design with a charming bio
Cons:- Limited to fans of Squishmallows or plush toys
- No added features beyond softness and size
Best for: Parents or individuals seeking a cozy, sleep-friendly plush for nighttime cuddles
Not ideal for: Collectors wanting detailed characters or larger plush displays
- Size:12 inches
- Character:Belana the Aqua Cow
- Material:Super-soft plush
Our verdict“Ideal for those who want a plush that prioritizes softness and comfort for bedtime. ”
Squishmallows Kellytoy Plush 8″ Austin the Avocado
This 8-inch Austin the Avocado offers a compact, high-quality plush that’s perfect for on-the-go cuddling or gifting. Compared with the larger Dustin the Dalmatian, Austin’s smaller size makes it more portable and easier to display in tight spaces. However, its size might limit its role as a primary cuddle buddy for some users. The detailed, high-quality plush fabric elevates its appeal for collectors seeking a durable, collectible piece, but very young children should be cautious due to small parts that could pose a choking risk. Overall, this pick targets those who want a detailed, small plush that’s ideal for gifting or collection.
Pros:- High-quality plush with detailed design
- Compact size for portability and display
- Made with durable, soft materials
Cons:- Limited to 8 inches, which may be too small for cuddling
- Small parts might not be suitable for very young children
Best for: Collectors or gift buyers looking for a high-quality, small plush to display or give as a gift
Not ideal for: Parents seeking a larger plush for active play or cuddling
- Size:8 inches
- Material:High-quality plush
Our verdict“Best suited for collectors and gift givers who prefer a detailed, small plush. ”
Squishmallows Harvey the Walrus 30cm Plush Toy
Harvey the Walrus at 30cm offers a perfect balance between size and softness, making it ideal for travel or cuddling on the go. Compared with Dustin the Dalmatian’s larger 20-inch size, Harvey’s more manageable 30cm is easier to carry around but still large enough for hugability. Its ultra-soft plush material guarantees comfort, yet it lacks interactive features or elaborate design elements that could appeal to children seeking more play value. This plush is best for fans of Squishmallows who want a portable, soft companion for trips or naps.
Pros:- Extremely soft and cuddly
- Size perfect for travel and hugging
- High-quality plush material
Cons:- Lacks features beyond softness and size
- Limited appeal to collectors seeking elaborate designs
Best for: Travelers or cuddling enthusiasts who want a soft, portable plush that isn’t too large
Not ideal for: Minimalists or those wanting a highly detailed, display-only plush
- Size:30cm
- Character:Harvey the Walrus
- Material:Ultra-soft plush
Our verdict“A versatile, travel-friendly plush suited for cuddling and portability. ”
Squishmallows 20in Dustin the Dalmatian Plush
Dustin the Dalmatian at 20 inches is a substantial plush that makes a bold statement on any bed or shelf. Compared with the more portable Harvey the Walrus, Dustin’s larger size offers more cuddle surface but requires ample space for storage. Its ultrasoft, high-quality fabric ensures durability and comfort, but the size might be unwieldy for travel or small bedrooms. Fans of larger plush toys or those wanting a show-stopping collectible will find Dustin appealing, yet it might be overkill for those seeking a small or lightweight option. This plush is best for dedicated collectors or those wanting a prominent décor piece.
Pros:- Very soft, high-quality material
- Large size for impressive display and cuddling
- Official licensed Squishmallows character
Cons:- Requires significant storage space
- Less portable for travel or on-the-go hugs
Best for: Large-space dwellers or collectors seeking a statement plush for display or cuddling
Not ideal for: Travelers or tight-space owners who need a compact plush
- Size:20 inches
- Character:Dustin the Dalmatian
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
Our verdict“Ideal for those who want a large, cuddly plush that doubles as a decorative piece. ”
Squishmallows Original 8in Adopt Me! Blue Ringed Octopus Plush
This 8-inch Blue Ringed Octopus stands out for its authentic Squishmallows quality and its appeal to collectors, especially those who enjoy the Adopt Me! theme. Compared with larger options like the 12-inch Woxie Bigfoot, this plush is more portable and perfect for display or gentle cuddling. However, its smaller size might disappoint those seeking a huggable, larger plush for comfort. The high-quality ultrasoft material ensures a cuddly feel, and its official status guarantees authenticity, making it a must-have for collectors or fans of the game. Its narrow theme may limit appeal for buyers looking for more generic plush toys. Overall, this plush suits fans wanting a detailed, collectible piece, but less so for those seeking a larger, more versatile companion.
Pros:- Soft, high-quality ultrasoft material for a cuddly feel
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
- Perfect collectible item inspired by popular online game
Cons:- Limited size may not satisfy those wanting larger plush toys
- The specific theme might not appeal to all preferences
Best for: Fans of Adopt Me! or plush collectors seeking a small, authentic collectible.
Not ideal for: Children or buyers wanting a larger, more huggable plush for cuddling or play.
- Size:8 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft, high-quality plush
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Theme:Adopt Me! Blue Ringed Octopus
Our verdict“This plush is ideal for collectors and fans of the Adopt Me! game who appreciate a compact, authentic piece.”
Squishmallows Super Soft Decorative Cushion, 8 Inches Round, Polyester Fill
This 8-inch round cushion emphasizes comfort and style, making it ideal for adding a cute, plush accent to bedrooms, dorms, or offices. Compared with the more playful and character-driven 12-inch Woxie Bigfoot, this cushion prioritizes decor and cuddly comfort over character appeal. Its super soft polyester fill offers a plush feel perfect for naps or relaxing, but the limited size restricts its use as a functional pillow for larger seating. The adorable unicorn design adds charm, yet it’s primarily a decorative piece that might require careful spot cleaning. Its versatility makes it a good choice for those wanting a plush that doubles as decor, but it isn’t suitable as a large or supportive cushion for prolonged use.
Pros:- Super soft and cuddly plush material
- Adorable unicorn design enhances room decor
- Versatile for use in various personal spaces
Cons:- Spot clean only, requiring careful maintenance
- Limited size may not serve as a functional large cushion
Best for: Decor-conscious buyers looking to add a plush accent to personal spaces or small beds.
Not ideal for: People seeking an actual bed pillow or a large, supportive cushion for lounging.
- Size:8 inches round
- Material:Polyester
- Design:Unicorn on pink background, ‘inspired’ on purple background
Our verdict“This plush cushion is perfect for decorative use and cozy accents in small spaces or bedrooms.”
Squishmallows 12-Inch Landry Yellow Meringue Macaron Plush – Official Jazwares
The 12-inch Landry Yellow Meringue Macaron combines adorable design with high-quality plush, making it an excellent choice for cuddling, travel, or collection. Compared with smaller 8-inch plushes like the Adopt Me! Octopus, this larger size provides more comfort and huggability for all ages. Its ultrasoft material and official Jazwares branding guarantee durability and authenticity. However, its size limits portability for some, and it requires hand washing, which could be a downside for busy households. The plush’s sweet design and size make it ideal for those who want a lovable, travel-friendly companion, but it’s less suited for collectors seeking a smaller, more intricate piece. Overall, this plush strikes a good balance between size, softness, and ease of use.
Pros:- Ultra-soft, high-quality materials for maximum cuddling
- Official product with authentic seal
- Ideal size for hugging, travel, and collection
Cons:- Limited to one plush per purchase
- Requires hand washing for cleaning
Best for: Parents or travelers seeking a cuddly, easy-to-clean plush for kids or trips.
Not ideal for: Collectors looking for small, detailed figures or plush that require minimal maintenance.
- Size:12 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Brand:Jazwares
- Character:Animal
- Theme:Squishmallows Squad
Our verdict“This plush is a practical, lovable choice for those wanting a larger, portable cuddle buddy for children or travel.”
Squishmallows 12in Woxie The Magenta Bigfoot Plush
Woxie the Magenta Bigfoot offers a fun, sizable 12-inch plush with a friendly design that appeals to those who love character-driven toys. Compared with the more neutral-toned Blanche Possum, Woxie’s bold color makes it stand out as a playful, standout piece. Its super-soft plush material guarantees cuddly comfort, and the character’s bio adds a layer of personality. The main tradeoff is that it features only one character design, limiting variety for collectors. Its size makes it suitable for cuddling or display, but some might find the medium size less ideal for travel or everyday portability. If you prefer a plush with a fun character and vibrant color, Woxie fits the bill, but those seeking a more subdued or collectible piece might prefer Blanche.
Pros:- Soft, cuddly plush material
- Unique character with a fun bio
- Vibrant, eye-catching color
Cons:- Limited to a single character design
- Medium size may not suit all preferences for portability
Best for: Kids or fans wanting a cheerful, character-focused plush for cuddling or play.
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking a neutral or more sophisticated plush for decor or collection.
- Size:12 inches
- Character:Woxie the Bigfoot
- Material:Super-soft plush
Our verdict“Woxie the Bigfoot is a playful, character-rich plush perfect for kids or fans who love bold, fun designs.”
Squishmallows Original 14in Carl the Cheeseburger Plush
Among the lineup, Carl the Cheeseburger stands out as a playful and charming addition, especially for fans who love character-driven plush toys. His 14-inch size makes him ideal for cuddling or display, and the high-quality ultrasoft material ensures a cozy feel. Unlike smaller options like Miry the Moth, Carl has a more substantial presence that appeals to collectors seeking personality and fun. However, his limited appeal is mostly to plush enthusiasts and those specifically seeking collectibles, which might not satisfy kids looking for more interactive toys. The plush’s unique bio and fun personality make it a memorable gift, but its single size offers less versatility for different age groups or play styles. If you want a plush with a humorous flair and collectible appeal, Carl hits the mark.
Pros:- Soft and ultrasoft material for an ultra-cuddly experience
- Unique character with a playful personality and bio
- Perfect size for both kids and collectors
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to fans of plush toys and collectibles
- Only available in one size (14 inches)
Best for: Collectors and kids who love character-based plush toys with personality.

- Unit Count:1
- Series:Squishmallows Original
- Age Range:Toddler

Our verdict“This plush makes the most sense for collectors or kids who enjoy character-driven, humorous plush toys.”
Squishmallows 10-Inch Miry Moth Plush
Miry the Moth offers a charming, butterfly-inspired design that is perfect for those seeking a cuddly companion for everyday hugs. Compared with Carl, Miry’s 10-inch size makes her more portable and easier to carry around, making her especially suitable for travel or smaller hands. Her ultra-soft marshmallow-like fabric invites snuggling, and her charming details appeal to a wide age range. While Miry is adorable and versatile, her smaller size may not satisfy collectors looking for larger display pieces like the 14-inch Carl. Additionally, her limited size might be less engaging for very young children who prefer larger, more substantial plushes. Overall, Miry excels as a cute, cuddly gift or a collection piece for those who appreciate smaller, detailed plushies.
Pros:- Ultra-soft and cuddly for comfortable hugging
- Adorable butterfly-inspired design with charming details
- Suitable for all ages and makes a great gift
- Perfect size for collection or on-the-go use
Cons:- Limited to a 10-inch size, less impactful for display
- May not be ideal for very young children without supervision
Best for: Parents and gift-givers looking for a portable, adorable plush for kids or collectors seeking a smaller, cuddly character.
Not ideal for: Buyers wanting a large, show-stopping plush or a plush designed for very young children without supervision, as the 10-inch size may be too small for rough handling.
- Brand:Jazwares
- Character:Miry the Moth
- Size:10 inches
- Material:Premium marshmallow-like fabric
Our verdict“This plush makes the most sense for those who want a small, charming, and portable cuddle buddy or collector’s item.”
